Hark

*

As the years go by, give me but peace
freedom from ten thousand matters

I ask myself and always answer
What can be better than coming home?

A wind from the pine trees blows my sash
and my lute is bright with the mountain moon

You ask me about good and evil fortune
Hark, on the lake, there's a fisherman singing.

Poem: Wang Wei  698-759

Illustrations: Wassily Kandinsky

  5. There is no place like Home and returning to it, both our physical abode and the Memories of Home in our mind. For someone that pauses to see and listen...Home can be anywhere!

    Loved the post, Delwyn

I've been up to my eyeballs in ten thousand things, hence no time for blogging of late. Hopefully soon I'll have more opportunity for blogging before too long.
