Looking for signs of spring
in the subtropics
where flowers and trees bloom all year
and very few deciduous trees
mark the changes of the seasons ~
there are the bright and the obvious
the pink lilly pillies
and the red bottle-brushes
and the red bottle-brushes
and then there are the little critters
quietly at work
and then there are the not so subtle
the very bossy juvenile Noisy Miner
in the yellow grevillea
You're blogging again! Yeah! Welcome back—I've missed you. I've been on a hiatus, as you may know. You live in such a beautiful world.

ReplyDeleteIt is wonderful to see your spring coming along as we head into a dreary fall.
ReplyDeleteThe signs of Spring are so beautiful. The pink lilies are so bright and happy! I loved looking at the different birds.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day!
So very nice to see you here again! How wonderful to have spring blooming. We are just beginning the dark, rainy days of fall here in the northwest U.S. Keep posting so I can live vicariously.
ReplyDeleteAs my fall wanes, I'm going to enjoy your spring. When snow falls, I hope to see your summer! I love the name "Lillie Pillies" and think they look like chenille pom-poms.
ReplyDeleteOh - dear Delwyn - this feels like a very special 'letter' from a long lost friend! I've missed you and your blog.
ReplyDeleteWhat exquisite pink flowers!! Your photography is great.
Hope you and yours are well.
It is so wonderful to lose myself at the end of my day in your beautiful world down there. I'm so glad you are blogging here again.
