Dan: Its a bit of 'back to the future' toing and froing here and there. I must retract my previous comment about not celebrating V day in Australia. I asked my friends and they do and of course there are the inevitable ads for roses on TV. Growing up in NZ it was a foreign idea, but now maybe in NZ also, the engine of commercialism has spawned another lucrative day of sentiment. We'll have to ask Alden.
