Home Again

I crawled out of bed 

this morning

at 3am

to catch a very early flight

 back home to Australia

from New Zealand

and was rewarded with 

dawn views

of Mt Ruapehu 

in the centre 

of the North Island

While in Christchurch

I found many treasures...

the above picture 

shows my younger sister

in the highchair,

and me aged three

with koala

and fluffy

patent leather muff,

a gift from 

 an Aunt in Australia

Do you think

my koala fascination

may have begun 

way back then...
